Our front yard is wide open and sloping. It's beautiful, but a little difficult if you are young and want to run down it. Mari tried to help Sophia out by holding her hand. It didn't work out so well.

Creature Capture and Sister in the Yard
Last year we saw many, many blue five-lined skinks and only one broad-headed skink. This year is the opposite. We've seen only a few blue skinks, and a lot of these guys.
We've also seen (and caught) a lot of these creatures:
Sophia calls them "hop-toadies".
Our front yard is wide open and sloping. It's beautiful, but a little difficult if you are young and want to run down it. Mari tried to help Sophia out by holding her hand. It didn't work out so well.


If this would have been a video, you would have seen Sophia being dragged for awhile as well. Thankfully, no one was injured or angry. And I got out all the grass stains.
