No, really, we do.
We go fishing, despite the fact that no fish are biting.
We go paddle-boating (we were so blessed to have cousins Justus and Isaiah come visit with us for a few days).
We eat a few treats.
Okay, lots and lots of treats.
We read. A lot.
(See Mari's babies? One day we'll talk about baby safety with her.)We catch crayfish, worms, toads, and turtles.
We kiss, lick, and smell the turtles.
We set the turtles free (except for one small one that is still in a tub on the deck).
We canoe.
We snuggle with Auntie Linnie, who came all the way from Wyoming just to see us. Oh, wait, I think there was a wedding to attend as well. Must have been a coincidence.
We go swimming in our swimsuits once it warms up a bit. But mostly we try to stay out of the still-frigid waters by climbing in the tube floating around.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And when it is quiet, Sophia and I sneak away to visit our favorite newborn.
(Yes, that's my camera wrist strap hanging down. I had to snap the photo quick before Sophia rolled over and grabbed Ashyr and tried to put him in her mouth. She thinks he's a toy.)
