Another Random Smattering of Photos, and Sophia Signing "More"

Sophia has surprised us a lot with her distinct personality. Of course, our God is big enough to make every person unique, so why are we as parents always so surprised that each of our children is so different from the others?

My other two never did this.
I know it's typical of babies to throw things out of their cribs or pack-n-plays, but Joshy and Mari never did. Sophia? Well, I put her in, turn to go, and immediately hear the toys being tossed out. At least, because of another, wonderful aspect of who she is (namely, super-smiley child), she doesn't seem to mind. Whenever I return, there she is, toys all over the floor around her and a big, fat grin on her face.

To celebrate Joshy losing his first tooth, we took him to the restaurant of his choice, which was Dairy Queen. We had a good time as a family, and Mari is very much looking forward to her "tooth party" in a few years. She tells us she will choose to go to Dairy Queen as well.
And yes, we brought our own fruit (notice the orange peel) and made them get applesauce instead of fries and milk instead of pop. We're that kind of parents and happy to be so! We did also get both Joshy and Mari a big milkshake each, which took them three days to finish. It was a party, after all!

And another cute photo of Sophia, of which I have many.
Thanks for the "ears" outfit, Grandma!

Sophia has been getting the hang of signing lately. She's been signing "milk" for a month or so now, but lately had a language explosion, so to speak, and can now sign "more", "all done", and sometimes "eat".

And I love how Mari answers for Sophia in this video. She does that a lot, and it is quite humorous at times.
